Architect Project Manager

Overview

• Remote or hybrid within Minnesota, with hybrid options in select U.S. locations
• Prepare full design projects and collaborate with local and regional teams
• Develop architectural projects with new and prospective clientele
• Market SEH’s architectural services, prepare proposals, and manage communication between clients, consultants, and contractors
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Manage project financials

• Professional Degree in Architecture
• Strong business management skills with proven success securing new work and expanding business markets
• Independent, coordinating activities across regional teams and offices
• Previous project management experience with strong client and team communication skills
• Mentor junior architectural staff through the design process
• Understand building construction and create technical documentation that describes the work to be done
• Working knowledge of standard building code reviews and site planning, programming, and interior functional layouts
• Travel to clients as needed; overnight travel may be required
• Proven history in leading project pursuits and winning proposals

• 5+ years of experience in municipal market architecture development
• Licensed Architect
• Industrial and private sector market experience
• NCARB Certification with ability to obtain licensure in additional states
• Understanding of project financial metrics and active management of project financial performance
• Experience acting as a staff supervisor providing guidance and mentorship to direct reports
• Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite

SEH is an employee‑owned engineering, architectural, planning, and environmental company serving government, industrial, and commercial clients. Base compensation range: $90,000–$130,000 based on skill set and experience. Full benefits package available. Remote and hybrid opportunities available in specified U.S. locations.
