This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Academic or Clinician Track (not tenure). We are seeking a collaborative physician-scientist or clinical investigator who will contribute to the growth of our AYA and lymphoma programs, deliver excellent patient care, and help advance innovative research and clinical trials in hematologic malignancies, cellular therapy, and transplantation.

Why Join Us?

  • Collaborative Research Environment: work within the Masonic Cancer Center, a nationally recognized leader in cancer research with multidisciplinary teams focused on cellular therapies, immunotherapy, and survivorship.
  • Career Development & Leadership: build and expand an independent research portfolio with institutional support; leadership opportunities exist within lymphoma and AYA initiatives.
  • Training the Next Generation: actively teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and postdoctoral trainees, with access to training grant infrastructures (T32, K awards, etc.).
  • Comprehensive Resources: benefit from UMN's clinical trial infrastructure, cellular therapy platforms, and partnerships across pediatrics, survivorship, and population sciences to address unique AYA needs.
Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding clinical care to patients with malignant hematology conditions, with a focus on AYA and lymphoma.
  • Lead and participate in clinical, translational, or basic science research, with an emphasis on advancing therapies and survivorship for AYA and lymphoma patients.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee innovative clinical trials and research projects in cellular therapy, transplantation, and lymphoma care.
  • Contribute to education and mentorship across all levels of medical training.
  • Collaborate with institutional leaders to further grow UMN's AYA and lymphoma research portfolio.
About Us

The HOT Division brings together a diverse group of physicians and scientists advancing discovery across hematology, oncology, and transplantation. Our work is integrated with the Masonic Cancer Center, a hub for cancer innovation since 1991.
