Location: US-MN – St. Paul
- Hire a full and part‑time addiction psychiatrist – must be licensed in Minnesota (open to Wisconsin).
- Lead the developing co‑occurring disorders program, including all levels of care from residential to outpatient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with substance use and mental disorders, ensuring holistic treatment.
- Enhance mental health care delivery, educate staff on best practices in managing co‑occurring disorders, and implement integrated care.
- Doctorate (MD).
- Current license to practice medicine in the appropriate state.
- Board certified, certified in addiction medicine or board eligible in a medical specialty; if board eligible, must become board certified or attain certification in addiction medicine within two years.
- Experience in addiction‑related medical practice or equivalent/related experience.
- Pass state/license specific background check.
- NPI number.
- DEA certificate.
- Current BLS certification (remote employees exempt). Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Prior CD/Detox experience; at least 1 year in an acute care setting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in addiction medicine practice.
- Board certification in ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine).
