We’re looking for a compassionate, proactive, and collaborative individual to join our dedicated Student Support Team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the social and emotional needs of students by providing targeted interventions through one‑on‑one sessions and small group work. You’ll work closely with the School Psychologist and the Student Support Team to develop and implement creative, evidence‑based strategies that help students thrive, both in and out of the classroom.
You’ll be a key contributor to building a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment where every student feels seen, heard, and empowered to succeed.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with supervision during recess and lunch periods, offering another chance to engage with students in a relaxed, informal setting and reinforce social‑emotional learning in real time.
Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children.
- Moderate experience working with children.
- Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio OR pass MN Parapro test.
- Training in Blood Borne Pathogens upon hire.
- Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 6‑12 months upon hire as needed for program.
- Valid driver’s license in the State of Minnesota.
