Position Overview

The Financial Aid Processor supports the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs with a primary focus on student verification, grant processing, and system data accuracy. This position also serves as a key backup to Financial Aid Counselors and front-desk operations to ensure seamless service delivery to students and families.

Essential Duties
  • Review and complete Federal Verification, ensuring federal compliance and timely communication with students
  • Serve as backup to Financial Aid Counselors and the front-desk, assisting with packaging Title, IV, state, and institutional funds, FAFSA reviews, and student support.
  • Maintaining financial aid records by collecting data from other administrative offices on campus, collecting required applications and documentation from students, obtaining student financial aid information from the Department of Education and State of Minnesota
  • Assisting with preparation and distribution of financial aid information, workshops, presentations, visits, New Student Orientation, and conferences
  • Oversee key financial aid scholarship and grants, including MN Child Care Grant administration, tuition waiver processing, and backup loan support-ensuring accurate eligibility review, compliance, and timely reporting.
