The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking a Work Coordinator to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The role performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Student Support Services Administrators. Continuous oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional/Job Coaches - Student Support Services.

Bachelor's degree with coursework in special education teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $40 per hour
• Dates of ESY:
  June 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for ESY Programming
• Work Days/Times:
  Proposed days:
  Mon‑Fri per the ESY calendar;
  Proposed times: 7:15 am‑11:15 am (dates, times and location may change based on student and/or district needs)
• Student Level: Secondary
• Proposed Site:
  Transition Education Center (Formerly Hugo Elementary) (The final determination for the ESY site will be made closer to ESY programming)
