Position: Spring Theater Director

Location: North High School – North St. Paul, MN

Start Date: February 2026

Salary: Per NSPMOEA Master Contract

Work Year: 2025–2026 School Year

North High School is seeking an energetic, student-focused Spring Theater Director to lead our high school theater program, inspire student performers and technicians, and deliver a high-quality spring stage production. The ideal candidate brings passion for theater education, strong leadership, and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Experience directing high school–level plays and/or musical(s)
• Experience working with high school–aged students
• Availability for rehearsals from 2:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday–Sunday
• Availability for extended hours 2:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. during production week(s)
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Knowledge of set design and construction
• Knowledge of sound and lighting systems
• Ability to build and maintain strong community relationships
• Experience developing and/or maintaining theater program websites
• Ability to effectively promote and market a theater program
