ELD Teacher - Elementary; LTS

Responsibilities

• Create and plan ELD curriculum and instruction for English Learners.
• Teach ELD standards aligned with the curriculum of Independent School District 196.
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and coaches to plan and support classroom teachers and the needs of multilingual learners.

• Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach ESL.
• Strong general academic background.
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff and community.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
