About the role
The Peer Advisor works with students needing advising help before the student meets with their faculty advisor.
Responsibilities:- Assist department faculty by meeting with social work students to go over their academic plan.
- Attend the peer advising training to understand the role of a peer advisor.
- Attend and be available on advising day to meet with students.
- Meet with the administrative assistant and/or faculty for assignments.
- Must be a student pursuing social work at Bethel University.
- Must be of sophomore or greater standing.
- Must be a good communicator and work well with both students and faculty.
This position does not require travel.
Work Environment:Mainly in the CC322
Physical Demands:N/A
Expected Hours of Work:5-6 hours prior to and during registration at $14.25/hour
