Civil or Environmental Wastewater Engineer

Overview

Civil or Environmental Wastewater Engineer s position supports the Water/Wastewater team and is open to candidates in the St Paul / Minneapolis metro area.

• Join our wastewater infrastructure team to support the planning, design, and construction of a wide variety of water treatment and wastewater treatment projects.
• Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with engineers, designers, and other professionals.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
• Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers.

• Bachelor s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial drinking water or wastewater treatment projects
• Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations

• Four (4) years of experience designing and/or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects
• Four (4) years of experience designing and/or managing drinking water projects, including treatment, wells and pump houses, storage facilities, booster stations, and distribution systems
• Knowledge of regional water and wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Ability to scope and budget new drinking and wastewater facility projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

Location:

St Paul / Minneapolis metro area. This is a full-time, 100% employee-owned position.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $80,000 to $105,000 based on skill set and experience. See our full benefits package in SEH Hiring Journey.
