Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our growing Contaminated Assessment and Remediation (CAR) Group s role requires a self‑motivated professional with strong technical skills, federal/state/local environmental regulatory knowledge, and existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities include conducting geological or hydrogeological research, creating technical reports, supporting regulatory compliance, and recommending actions based on data collected from soils, waters, and other sources.
Requirements & Qualifications- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to travel to project sites for short durations (including overnight travel) throughout the region.
- Professional designation/License preferred.
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation (drilling techniques, contaminant fate and transport, site characterization, protocols, remediation techniques).
- Experience managing project teams, project management, and mentoring staff.
- Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in applied science (Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology).
- Insights and Reporting:
Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports. - Solutions Analysis:
Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions, which may be technical or professional. - Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations:
Contribute to well proposals by providing complex analysis and interpretation of geological/geophysical field data, including advanced modelling techniques. - Health, Safety, and Environment:
Follow the organization’s HSE policies and procedures to mitigate risks. - Personal Capability Building:
Participate in assessment and development activities to maintain external professional accreditation where relevant. - Client & Customer Management:
Manage client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues. - Simulation and Modeling:
Coordinate comprehensive simulations or modeling to test performance of solutions. - Community of Practice Management:
Build expertise within a defined area of practice. - Mineral Reserves and Resource Assessment:
Create and implement mineral assessment plans. - Exploration Plan Development:
Design and implement complex exploration plans. - Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation:
Gather information and draft RFP/RFT documents. - Project Management:
Deliver small‑ or medium‑scale projects within an established program management plan.
Salary: $63,500.00 – $, varies based on location and experience.
- 401k – Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service.
- Paid time off: PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service.
- Holiday pay: 9 holidays per year, paid based on the regular schedule.
