INDUSTRIAL

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

The Industrial Construction Manager (ICM) serves as the on-site leader and single point of responsibility for all phases of industrial EPC project delivery - from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover. The role ensures unified accountability for safety, cost, schedule, quality, and field execution. The ICM provides direct leadership for engineering coordination, procurement planning, and construction execution across self-perform and subcontracted scopes.

This position requires a strategic, hands‑on leader capable of managing complex industrial environments while driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and high‑performing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS Required
  • High school diploma required.
  • 10-15 years of construction related experience or progressive leadership in large-scale EPC projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing large-scale industrial or EPC projects ($50M+ TIC).
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial process systems, equipment installation, and heavy construction sequencing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead safety programs and maintain OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience in Power, Energy, Water/Wastewater, Ag/Industrial, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Current OSHA 30 certification.
Preferred
  • Bilingual with the ability to communicate in both Spanish and English.
  • Two or four-year degree in construction related field.
  • Experience with modularization, prefabrication, or advanced work packaging (AWP) preferred.
  • Experience managing EPC projects with total installed cost exceeding $100M strongly preferred.

  • Proficient in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore (or equivalent), Bluebeam (or equivalent software), Primavera P6 and project controls software.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical leadership.

OFFICE AND TRAVEL
  • Must be willing to travel regularly and accept out-of-town assignments ranging from weeks to months or years at a time.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Project Leadership and Execution
  • Lead total project execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Serve as the primary field leader responsible for site safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project execution plans, logistics, and constructability strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to align design deliverables and construction sequencing.
  • Manage self‑perform trades and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, specifications, and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with contract obligations and deliverables across EPC functions.
  • Oversee commissioning, startup, and performance testing phases in alignment with client requirements.
