Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Medical Device Programmer/ Electrical Engineer at LEXION Medical in St Paul, MN. The Medical Device Programmer will be responsible for the day‑to‑day programming and development of medical devices, including back‑end web development, software development, and programming. The role will involve utilizing skills in computer science and object‑oriented programming (OOP) to create and maintain embedded medical devices.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for medical devices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand user requirements and technical specifications.
  • Write clean, well‑documented, and efficient code following best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough software testing, verification, and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as FDA regulations and medical device quality systems.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in medical device programming.
Qualifications
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
