This Opportunity:

• Complete detailed design for airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities
• Draft and develop project plan sheets using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Prepare construction documents such as plans, specifications, and supporting technical materials
• Support project estimation and budgeting activities
• Participate in construction observation and field engineering for airport projects throughout the Midwest
• Assist Professional Engineers and Project Managers with project scoping, task hour allocations, schedules, fee proposals, and state and federal grant applications and management
• Coordinate work activities, support project team responsibilities, and provide regular project status updates
• Build a strong understanding of current airport design standards, regulations, and industry procedures
• Work effectively in an empowered, collaborative team environment while maintaining individual accountability

Essential

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience in civil engineering or a related discipline
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and CAD design tools
• Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, client consultations, onsite inspections, and related project needs; occasional overnight travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in airport infrastructure projects or related field

Compensation and benefits: Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $65,000 and $76,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
