Reliability Engineer II at Medtronic's Mounds View, Minnesota facility will support post-market surveillance and quality activities for implantable cardiac rhythm management products. The role involves analyzing product performance data, conducting risk assessments, investigating quality issues, and documenting technical findings to improve device reliability and patient safety.
Responsibilities- Support reliability analysis to identify design and process improvements for device systems
- Conduct or assist with risk assessments and technical documentation for quality and safety impact
- Analyze post-market product performance data and summarize findings for surveillance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues and support corrective actions
- Support verification, validation, and compliance assessment of device requirements and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years work experience in Engineering or related technical field
- Understanding of cardiac rhythm management products and clinical environments
- Experience with medical device regulations (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
- Root cause investigation and risk assessment capabilities
- Statistical data analysis and reliability engineering tools proficiency
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required
