Essential Functions And Responsibilities- Constant attention to detail while seeking out opportunities to help other people
- Welcome guests to CHS Field with positive energy and courteousness
- Provide event information and general ballpark directions
- Check tickets and show fans to their seats
- Engage disruptive guests regarding their behavior relative to ballpark policy
- Bolster ballpark policies and safety procedures while maintaining a calm voice through occasionally emotional situations
- Respond promptly to customer needs and/or requests for assistance
- Guide fans to ballpark locations such as Fan Services, restrooms, water fountains and concession stands
- Navigate through assigned seating areas, including stairs at times, to assist with guest issues and questions
- Wipe wet seats or surfaces for guests during or after inclement weather
- Assist in maintaining a clean ballpark by picking up litter from the concourse or restrooms
- Availability to work a minimum of 35 of the 75 home games
- Working mainly nights, including several weekends and summer holidays
- Strong capacity to outwardly care about the well-being of others
- Positivity in communications with guests and staff
- Genuine enjoyment working in a team environment with a variety of people
- Recognize and resolve conflicts, while performing essential job functions
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold and rain
- Standing or navigating the concourse for extended periods, sometimes in a busy and noisy environment
- This is a seasonal, part‑time position with expected pay $16.50 per hour
- Hours vary according to game and event schedule. Report time is two hours before the start of the game and concludes approximately 15‑30 minutes following a game. Certain games, like Friday Night Fireworks or rain‑delayed games, may require longer shifts
- Education:
High school diploma preferred - Experience:
Prior customer service, entertainment venue experience preferred
