Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee various accounting operations, maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, and provide financial support for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct Balance Sheet account reconciliations and account analysis while ensuring accuracy and efficiency

- Supervise accounting operations for international branches, including overseeing external preparers for foreign tax filings

- Maintain and manage financial records and master data, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

- Prepare accurate entries to subledgers as required on a daily, monthly, and annual basis

- Assist in the improvement of process efficiency and performance by initiating and overseeing special projects

- Provide financial support for financial reporting and analysis, including system report testing and general ledger reconciliations

- Maintain process and procedure documentation for finance

- Ensure accurate and timely subperiod, monthly, and year-end close procedures

- Manage the timely completion of assigned year-end audit engagement schedules

- Oversee the reconciliation of physical inventory on a monthly basis and maintain daily treasury reports. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant.

- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

- Demonstrable experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

- Must have experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations.

- Expertise in managing General Ledger is necessary.

- Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

- Experience in handling Month End Close procedures.

- Familiarity with Net Suite for accounting and financial management.

- Must have experience with Oracle financial software.

- Experience with SAP is a plus.
