Responsibilities
  • Implements financial policies and procedures as determined by upline management for areas including, but not necessarily limited to, general ledger, financial statements, work papers and supporting documentation, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepares and supports journal entries for all non-system entries.
  • Participates in the completion of the Month End Close Checklist for all assigned action items to insure that the state meets all corporate timelines.
  • Maintains appropriate internal control safeguards over accounting functions.
  • Provides support to department managers, administration and physicians in the preparation, understanding and use of financial information.
  • Prepares the monthly reporting package and draft of the Management Discussion & Analysis document.
  • Analyzes all financial results and summarizes findings with recommendations when appropriate.
  • Supervises clerical staff as assigned.
  • Reviews payroll data and other analysis prepared by staff.
  • Performs EOB analysis as requested.
  • Reconciles all bank and intercompany accounts.
  • Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned.
Salary Level

$130,000-$180,000 annually

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum eight years of experience in fiscal management.
  • 3 years public accounting experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
