Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry Adult Inpatient

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Adult Psychiatry Inpatient to join the Fairview medical team at the brand-new, state-of-the-art 144-bed behavioral health hospital. Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital located in St. Paul, Minnesota has an exciting opportunity to work with a growing team and help shape the delivery of compassionate, high-quality inpatient psychiatric care from the ground up.

• This position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) role that includes coverage during weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
  , as well as participation in the call rotation to ensure 24/7 continuity of care.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans for adolescent/adult and/or geriatric inpatients.

• Lead multidisciplinary Capitol Park treatment teams, including therapists, nurses, and social workers.

• Participate in daily clinical rounds and team meetings.

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for Capitol Park behavioral health staff.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and hospital program development.

• Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

• BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC

• Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing

• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota

• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

• BLS certified

• Previous experience in acute care, adolescent care and/or geriatric care preferred

• Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required

The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on a 1.0 FTE schedule.

Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
