Summary
:
Assists in assuring adequate component inventory for internal and external customer needs, ensures compliance with federal regulations and industry standards, and provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

• Performing and overseeing daily Hospital Service tasks
• Hospital Orders
• Consigning
• Shipping
• Packing
• Reconciliation
• Delivering hospital transfusion services blood component orders
• Performing whole blood pick-ups from Collections Van/Mobile/Fixed sites
• Performing sample pick-ups for Reference Lab, Donor Testing, Nat Lab.
• Departmental Trainer
• Annual SOP review
• Salvage shipments
• Updating training course plans
• Equipment Maintenance
• Salavage contracts
• Maintain working knowledge of Temperature Monitoring System

Hourly rate: $23.30 - $26.30. I  also offers comprehensive benefits (medical, vision, dental, paid time off, sick days) and opportunities to participate in a 403(b) retirement plan with a generous employer contribution.

• High school education or equivalent

• Intermediate/Basic Microsoft computer skills required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health care, Technical or Regulated environment (cGMP environment)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize duties and occasionally work irregular hours. Ability to provide immediate supervision to staff.

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
