• Pay Rate: $27/hr
• Shift Information: Float – Day Shift | 8‑hour shifts, varying between 7:15 AM (earliest) and 5:30 PM (latest) CST

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative III – Floater (PSR III) represents the face of the organization to patients across multiple clinical and service locations. This position requires a skilled, dependable professional capable of drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and ensuring patient comfort and confidence throughout the process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, demonstrates leadership behaviors, and maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and process excellence.

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection accurately, following all established procedures.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining trust, professionalism, and patient comfort.
• Travel between assigned sites (AKFT, AKEN, AKEV, AKFG, AKFJ) as business needs dictate.
• Verify patient identity and ensure labeling accuracy for all specimens.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all collections.
• Follow safety and quality control procedures at all times.
• Assist in day‑to‑day operations under the supervision of area management.
• Promote organizational values and maintain a professional image with patients, clients, and staff.

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• Minimum 2 years in a patient service center environment preferred.
• Experience in customer service or healthcare support environments.

• Prior experience working in multiple or float locations.
• Experience supporting hospital or physician office collections.
• Prior exposure to the locations or workflows (asset).

• Excellent phlebotomy technique and specimen handling accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control procedures.
• Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and weekend/holiday rotations.
• Leadership and mentoring within a team setting.

• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments.
• Commitment to health, safety, and professionalism standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
