PDN Billing and A​/R Specialist

We are looking for a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join our customer-focused, supportive billing team.

  Wichita, KS or Roseville, MN (this position is required to work in office, must live in Kansas or Minnesota to be considered)
• Hours

  Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

• Create and send insurance claims and patient statements.
• Rebill insurance companies and third parties to secure payments.
• Analyze partial payments and denials from insurance companies for resolution.
• Verify entries made by cashiers, making necessary corrections.
• Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and establish payment plans.
• Send delinquent accounts to collection agencies as needed.
• Process insurance payments in our computerized billing system.
• Train personnel on the computerized billing system as required.
• Respond to billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
• Make recommendations to management regarding write-offs and adjustments.
• Conduct confirmations and quality assurance reviews; develop corrective actions for approval.

• Minimum 2 years previous medical billing experience required
• EVV experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
• Ability to problem solve and work independently
• Technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of medical coding preferred

Compensation for this role varies based on location and state requirements
, as well as individual factors such as degree, experience, qualifications. The expected base hourly range for this position is $21.65 to $23.70
, depending on these factors.
