- ForPA, must be approved by Minnesota Board of Medical Practice forprescription writing privileges

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENTRegions Digestive Care is staffed by Advanced Practice Providers who are dedicated to clinic and hospital service, as well as GI physicians who have varying clinic rotations along with their procedural, and hospital schedules. GI Advanced Practice Providers manage a full patient caseload and are trusted experts in this specialized field.
They provide new patient assessment for patients with liver and general GI disease; ongoing chronic disease management for this patient population; and between-visit partnership with patients inthe management of their disease. These providers are an integral partof the GI team and the patient care they provide is foundational and essential in caring for the Health Partners patient population with GIand liver disease. Performs other duties as assigned.

Obtainshistory and examines patient
