Medtronic seeks a Senior Health Economics & Outcomes Research Analyst to support evidence development for Peripheral Vascular Health products. The role involves designing studies using administrative claims data, conducting observational research, and preparing results for regulatory submissions and reimbursement strategies.
Responsibilities- Design and conduct studies using administrative claims and device-derived data to assess outcomes and costs
- Develop observational and economic research studies to support product decisions, regulatory submissions, and reimbursement strategies
- Compare and evaluate product value using clinical, economic, and quality of life outcomes data from multiple sources
- Prepare study results for publication as abstracts, presentations, and peer-reviewed papers
- Collaborate with reimbursement, clinical research, and biostatistics teams to develop country-specific evidence
- Baccalaureate degree in any field
- Minimum 4 years healthcare industry experience with health care data or advanced degree plus 2 years post-graduate healthcare experience
- Proficiency with statistical software such as SAS, STATA, or R
- Experience with administrative claims data or large healthcare databases
- Strong quantitative skills with training in econometrics or statistics
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
