Join to apply for the Mainframe Engineer role at High Cloud Solutions. This full‑time position is designed to provide technical support for High Cloud’s online transaction processing software, focusing on CICS, MQSeries, and associated middleware on z/OS.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM CICS and MQSeries and supporting products, using vendor‑provided tools and documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues for CICS, MQSeries, and associated products such as application contention, program loops, storage shortages, and message delivery failures.
• Monitor performance of CICS and MQSeries to ensure efficient CPU, I/O usage, and transaction and MQ message throughput.
• Provide application support for CICS table updates, code rollout, and best practices for CICS, MQSeries, and related products.
• Conduct staff training for designated z/OS staff, providing education on new features and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and maintain documentation and standards.
• Ensure compliance with security and accessibility policies, manage security certificates, and analyze security within CICS and MQSeries (ACF2/RACF).
• Test code for desired results, debug when necessary, and implement developed and configured elements across environments.
• Assist with migration of applications from development to QA to production environments and participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Provide knowledge transfer, attend and participate in meetings, and produce technical documentation and assigned duties according to project plans and schedules.

• Experience with CICS, z/OS, SMP/E, Unix System Services, and mainframe operating systems maintenance.
• Ability to install and maintain CICS and MQSeries on z/OS, run commands, and use MQ Explorer to manipulate channels and queues.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with performance tuning and security certificate management experience.
• Experience in resolving CICS issues, including looping tasks and storage shortages, and analyzing CICS transaction and system dumps.
• Knowledge of security within CICS and MQSeries (ACF2/RACF) and ability to manage CICS definitions.
• Experience with IBM Job Control Language (JCL), JES2, SMP/E, or z/OSMF.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead projects, mentor others, and effectively communicate with technical and non‑technical staff.
