People Soft Finance Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities

· Help manage respective People Soft FMS modules to deployment including driving all related project tasks, objectives and milestones

· Direct and guide People Soft 9.2 functionality decisions as they related to the client business processes

· Provide business process design, configuration and documentation for any new 9.2 functionality

· Act as a liaison between the client functional and technical staff

· Report status to Project Management Office (PMO) team and help draft regular communication across the project

· Provide project estimates for changes in business process and / or additional new functionality

· Track, escalate and document project risks, issues, decisions and changes to scope

· Provide input and research into project recommendations and decisions

· Work with software vendor to submit defects in delivered functionality

· Provide other project related experience as necessary

· Perform configuration analysis and documentation, especially as it relates to People Soft 9.2 functionality

· Help guide test preparation including test scenario and test script review and creation

· Help guide interface review and analysis and create documentation on recommendations

· Take lead for testing execution for the various test cycles

· Create, document and track issues and resolution

· Create input for communication and change management

· Provide detailed analysis and input to training material

· Provide input and review of complex system modifications

· Complete functional specification documentation per standards

· Review and analyze People Soft security roles and permissions and document any changes and/or recommendations

· Review and analyze People Soft batch process schedule and dependencies using App Worx or another batch scheduling tool and document any changes and/or recommendations

· Review and analyze People Soft workflow and document any changes and/or recommendations

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· 7 years’ experience in People Soft Financial Management Solutions (FMS) business analyst roles

· 2 years’ combined experience with People Soft 9.2 Project Costing or Grant Management modules

· 1 year experience with People Tools 8.54 or higher

· 3 years’ combined experience in full lifecycle upgrades or implementations of People Soft 9.1 or higher

Desired

Skills:

· People Soft v9.2 project deployed on People Tools 8.55 in a public sector environment (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, or Municipality government, or Higher Education)

· People Soft deployment in a state government setting working with a Department of Transportation

· Experience working with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) functionality within People Soft

· Experience in full lifecycle upgrades/implementations of People Soft 9.1 or higher in a public sector environment (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, or Municipality government, or Higher Education)

· Experience working with data warehouse solutions including People Soft EPM and Oracle OBIEE
