As part of the Indirect Sourcing organization, the Senior IT Sourcing Specialist develops and implements sourcing strategies that result in a sustainable competitive advantage for the Global IT category, while managing critical activities to reduce costs without compromising quality.  The specialist will build and leverage relationships between suppliers and BSC sites, divisions and regional sourcing teams, and partner with IT key stakeholders to achieve organizational and functional goals.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Negotiating new IT agreements in support of key sourcing areas

Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting

Manage supplier performance, relationships, and continuous improvement programs

Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targets

Creating and issuing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to potential suppliers and managing IT projects

Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the sourcing function

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of sourcing experience2 years of experience in IT Sourcing (i.e. software, hardware and services)

Experience with end-to-end sourcing process, negotiations and contract management

Proficient with MS Excel and Power Point Working  knowledge of ERP systems (i.e. SAP and Ariba)

Preferred qualifications:

Professional certification in Sourcing or Procurement Results-driven with effective negotiation skills and ability to meet target goals and objectives Ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels (written and verbal) Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Requisition  Salary: $93600

Maximum Salary: $177800

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
