About Us:This boutique firm is a leading plaintiff's firm specializing in personal injury and criminal defense. They are growing and opened a new role leadership role for a lawyer - a The head of Legal Operations. This newly created position will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and overseeing the daily functions of our Criminal Defense and Personal Injury legal teams.
Position Overview:As the Head of Legal Operations, you will provide strategic leadership, manage case workflows, supervise legal staff, and ensure compliance with legal standards, manage client relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney with a background in personal injury or a related practice area, paired with operations or business management experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise daily operations for Criminal Defense and Personal Injury teams.
- Implement and manage policies and procedures to optimize case management.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
- Oversee case progress, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met.
- Enhance operational efficiency through technology and data-driven strategies.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of service.
- Participate on the Firm's leadership team
- Ideally licensed to practice law in Minnesota and North Dakota (or ability to obtain).
- Proven leadership experience within a legal setting.
- Preferred knowledge of personal injury, criminal defense law or related areas.
- Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Organized, able to make sound decisions, creative problem solver, sense of urgency, demonstrated leadership experience.
