Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager – Reconstruction to oversee insurance-based reconstruction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and/or light commercial remodeling or restoration, with proven experience managing projects of varying scope and complexity. This role requires someone who can thrive in the fast‑paced, ever‑changing world of insurance restoration, demonstrating creative problem‑solving skills and leadership through the challenges of rebuilding from loss.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee reconstruction projects from estimate approval through project completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, in‑house crews, materials, and scheduling
  • Communicate with adjusters, homeowners, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Solve unique reconstruction challenges, especially those arising from fire‑damaged properties
  • Maintain budgets, timelines, and high‑quality construction standards
  • Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with building codes and client requirements
  • Document project milestones, changes, and communications
  • Support project close‑out, including punch lists and customer satisfaction follow‑up
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in remodeling, restoration, or insurance‑based reconstruction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and building codes
  • Experience working on insurance claims and understanding of carrier expectations
  • Ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively
  • Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to jobsite challenges
  • Proficiency with project management software and documentation tools
  • Valid driver’s license required
