Northern Iron LLC is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our quality control team as a CMM Programmer/Inspector.

1st shift 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday (plus overtime as needed on Fridays)
Regular Pay $28-$35/hour - Pay is based on experience.
What is the job?- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Program and operate the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
- Inspect parts to ensure conformance
- Perform First Article Inspection in Accordance with drawing requirements
- Work with a team to meet manufacturing deadlines
- CMM Operating, Programming and Romer arm experience Required - PC-DMIS
- Collect Measurement data for FAI reports
- Review routers to ensure that upstream operations have been completed and signed off
- Collect and provide data required for PPAP process
- Complete non-conforming material notices required for rejected parts
- Inspect Incoming and Outgoing materials for compliance, specifications, and conformance requirements
- Associate degree or some technical training (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with precise measurement tools, such as calipers and micrometers
