Warehouse Material Handler Lead - 2nd Shift

Position SummaryThe schedule for this position is Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm and Monday – Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm or until work is completed. Rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Job Responsibilities- Load, unload and stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicle equipment such as forklifts or picker equipment.
- Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
- Lifting 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Team lifts or mechanical equipment may be used for commercial tires.
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
- Work safely at heights up to 25 feet when operating equipment and handling stock racks.
- Be on the move; work on your feet for extended periods and be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Contribute to a safety culture by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures.
- Onboard and train new hires.
- Support Operation Leaders in guiding team members through assigned tasks.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting cycle counts.
- Handle inventory control responsibilities, including adjustments, returns and shortages.
- Assist with e‑commerce and will calls as needed.
- Other job‑related tasks may be assigned by the supervisor.

Physical demands:
The employee must be able to lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds with occasional lifts up to 80 pounds and exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires may require team lifts or mechanical equipment.
Protective equipment required:
Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for boots.
Work environment:
The employee may be exposed to weather conditions, moderate noise, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
- At least 1 year of warehouse, logistics or relevant experience.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety.
- Compliance with all company safety policies and state/federal transportation regulations.
- Ability to pass forklift certification.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test (no THC/marijuana testing).
