The Packager/Wrapper packagers materials and products.

The incumbent will work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m.

- 2:30 p.m. Some overtime work may be required.

• Line and pad crates and assemble cartons. Obtain and sort product.
• Wrap protective material around product.
• Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of the packaging process.
• Record information such as weight, time and date packaged.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in designated areas.
• Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails and hand tools.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of Nor-Ell job training, with demonstrated proficiency in the job.
• Able to read and understand English.
• Able to count and do simple math (primarily addition).
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to tolerate high heat and humidity while doing physical activity.
• Have free range of motion - bending, stooping, twisting, walking, balancing.
• People who have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals should avoid this position.

• Previous manufacturing environment experience.
