Assistant Production Supervisor
We are seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to support our first shift production operations. This role focuses on managing production flow, monitoring output quantities, and ensuring our manufacturing line operates efficiently while maintaining compliance with medical device quality standards. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor to coordinate daily operations for a team of 15 production associates.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage production flow to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Track production quantities and metrics, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in real-time.
- Coordinate with materials and supply chain to ensure adequate inventory for uninterrupted production.
- Maintain production schedules and adjust priorities based on demand and capacity.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and company quality systems.
- Document production data, deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Support the Production Supervisor in daily line operations and problem-solving.
- Communicate production status and issues to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coordinating or directing the work of others.
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP, and quality system standards.
- Ability to track and analyze production metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across shifts and departments.
- Proficiency with production tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with lean manufacturing within GMP and FDA methodologies for manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP or MES systems.
- Previous experience in a supervisor or lead role.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes cleanroom conditions with full gowning required in some areas. It is a smaller and clean facility, providing a focused and efficient workspace.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
