Kelly Services in partnership with Nissan is currently seeking highly skilled individuals to fill Production Technician positions at the Nissan manufacturing plant located in Canton, MS.
Job DescriptionKelly Services is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for one of our top clients in St. Paul, MN.
Pay Rate: $12.25 per Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday;
Daytime hours
Duration: 03/13/2017 to 03/12/2018

As a Manufacturing Technician placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for executing all processes in production while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply.
DUTIES
- Supports all local manufacturing operations.
- Supply components, small parts, glassware, tubing, etc. to cell culture and purification areas.
- Operate general production equipment such as parts washers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.
- Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
- Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.
- Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams.
- Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
- Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma / GED
- 6 months – 2 years related manufacturing experience
- Vision to be correctable to 20/20
- Good written and verbal communication skills and understanding of cGMP regulations.
- Familiarity with medical device production equipment including but not limited to autoclave, DP oven and CIP/SIP.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. This position requires shift, weekend and holiday work.
- May require immunization before performing work within the manufacturing area.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a class 7 clean room following gowning and related guidelines.
- Assembly and inspection of small components and materials with limited visual contrast.
