Material Handler tojoinourteam.
Inthisrole,youwillberesponsibleforreceiving,organizing,stocking,anddistributingmaterialsthroughoutourmanufacturingfacility.
Youwillalsoassistwithpreparing,packaging,andshippingpartstoensureproductionschedulesandcustomerordersarefulfilledaccuratelyandefficiently.
Theidealcandidatehaspreviouswarehouseordistributionexperience,strongorganizationalskills,andtheabilitytoworkinafast-pacedmanufacturingenvironment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPullpartsandmaterialsaccordingtoproductionschedulesanddeliverthemtodesignatedassemblyareas.
Receive,unload,inspect,andprocessincomingshipments,ensuringaccuratedocumentationandinventoryrecords.
Stockwarehousematerials,maintainorganizedinventorylocations,andestablishlocationsfornewstockitems.
Prepare,package,crate,andshipdomesticsparepartsorders,selectingappropriatepackagingmaterials.
Reviewdailyshippingschedulesandverifyorders,billsoflading,andshippingdocumentationforaccuracy.
Operateforkliftsandothermaterial-handlingequipmenttosafelymovematerialsthroughoutthefacility.
Coordinatewithproductionleadsandotherdepartmentstoensuretimelydeliveryofmaterialsandfulfillmentofbackorders.
Distributeincomingmaterialstoappropriatedepartmentsandcoordinateweldmentinspectionsandrejectedmaterialreturns.
Maintainadequatesuppliesofshippingandpackagingmaterials.
Assistwithloadingandunloadingtrucksandshippingcontainers.
Enterandupdateshipping,receiving,andinventoryinformationincomputersystems.
Maintainaclean,safe,andorganizedworkenvironment.
Performotherrelateddutiesasassigned.
QualificationsHighschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired.
Minimumof3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience.
Experienceworkinginamanufacturingorproductionenvironmentpreferred.
Basiccomputerskillsandabilitytonavigateinventoryandshippingsystems.
Abilitytoreadandverifyshippingdocuments,packing lists,andworkorders.
Strong organizational,problem-solving,andtroubleshootingskills.
Goodcommunicationskillsandabilitytoworkeffectivelywithproductionteamsandcoworkers.
Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoaccuracyandsafety.
Abilitytoprioritizetasksandadapttochangingproductionneeds.
Physical RequirementsAbilitytoworkinamanufacturingfacilityapproximately
85% ofthetime.
Abilitytoworkoutdoorsinvaryingweatherconditionsapproximately
15% ofthetime.
Abilitytostand,walk,bend,reach,andperformphysicalwarehousedutiesthroughouttheshift.
