Lab Technician - Color and Coatings

$22 per hour

Onsite

M-F 7 AM- 4 PM

Prepare products and samples to support Color Lab operations

Transfer product from 5-gallon pails into quart containers accurately

Pour and transfer coating materials safely and efficiently

Prepare and solidify products and samples according to laboratory procedures

Label, package, and organize customer samples for shipment

Verify sample accuracy before shipment

Perform routine checks on automatic pigment dispensers

Calibrate laboratory equipment as needed

Follow all safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures

Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and hazards immediately

Support ISO quality and environmental compliance initiatives

Complete special projects and other duties assigned by the Color Lab Supervisor Maintain high standards of safety, environmental responsibility, teamwork, and performance

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability and willingness to support the Color Lab team in a laboratory and manufacturing environment

Previous experience in coatings, paint, manufacturing, laboratory, or related environments is preferred but not required

Ability to safely handle and transfer coating and laboratory materials

Ability to pour and transfer products from large containers into smaller containers

Ability to prepare, solidify, and package products and samples according to established procedures

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and procedures

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver containers weighing up to 65 lbs Commitment to safety, environmental, and quality standards
