Material Handler tojoinourteam.
Inthisrole,youwillberesponibleforreceiving,organizing,stocking,anddistributingmaterialsthroughoutourmanufacturingfacility.
Youwillalsoassistwithpreparing,packaging,andshippingpartstoensureproductionschedulesandcustomerordersarefulfilledaccuratelyandefficiently.
Theidealcandidatehaspreviouswarehouseordistributionexperience,strongorganizationalskills,andtheabilitytoworkinafast-pacedmanufacturingenvironment.
Key Responsibilities- Pullpartsandmaterialsaccordingtoproductionschedulesanddeliverthemtodesignatedassemblyareas.
- Receive,unload,inspect,andprocessincomingshipments,ensuringaccuratedocumentationandinventoryrecords.
- Stockwarehousematerials,maintainorganizedinventorylocations,andestablishlocationsfornewstockitems.
- Prepare,package,crate,andshipdomesticsparepartsorders,selectingappropriatepackagingmaterials.
- Reviewdailyshippingschedulesandverifyorders,billsoflading,andshippingdocumentationforaccuracy.
- Operateforkliftsandothermaterial-handlingequipmenttosafelymovematerialsthroughoutthefacility.
- Coordinatewithproductionleadsandotherdepartmentstoensuretimelydeliveryofmaterialsandfulfillmentofbackorders.
- Distributeincomingmaterialstoappropriatedepartmentsandcoordinateweldmentinspectionsandrejectedmaterialreturns.
- Maintainadequatesuppliesofshippingandpackagingmaterials.
- Assistwithloadingandunloadingtrucksandshippingcontainers.
- Enterandupdateshipping,receiving,andinventoryinformationincomputersystems.
- Maintainaclean,safe,andorganizedworkenvironment.
- Performotherrelateddutiesasassigned.
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired.
- Minimumof3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience.
- Experienceworkinginamanufacturingorproductionenvironmentpreferred.
- Basiccomputerskillsandabilitytonavigateinventoryandshippingsystems.
- Abilitytoreadandverifyshippingdocuments,packing lists,andworkorders.
- Strong organizational,problem-solving,andtroubleshootingskills.
- Goodcommunicationskillsandabilitytoworkeffectivelywithproductionteamsandcoworkers.
- Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoaccuracyandsafety.
- Abilitytoprioritizetasksandadapttochangingproductionneeds.
- Abilitytoworkinamanufacturingfacilityapproximately
85% ofthetime. - Abilitytoworkoutdoorsinvaryingweatherconditionsapproximately
15% ofthetime. - Abilitytostand,walk,bend,reach,andperformphysicalwarehousedutiesthroughouttheshift.
- Abilitytosafelyoperatematerial-handling equipment.
