Kitting Manager

THE RIGHT STAFF is hiring a Kitting Manager for a growing manufacturing organization in the St. Paul area. This is a key leadership opportunity overseeing kitting, assembly, and fulfillment operations within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience leading manufacturing teams, driving process improvements, managing inventory-related workflows, and partnering with multiple departments to achieve operational goals. Printing, graphics, or packaging industry experience is highly preferred.

JOB DETAILS :

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 annually (flexibility may be available based on experience)

Location:

St. Paul, MN area

Schedule:

Full-time, M-F - 1st Shift (6AM-2:30PM)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead daily kitting, assembly, packaging, and fulfillment activities to support production schedules

Manage and develop supervisors and production employees across multiple shifts

Coordinate with production, inventory, quality, and purchasing teams to ensure operational success

Monitor productivity, quality, and service metrics while driving continuous improvement initiatives

Oversee inventory accuracy and material availability for kitting operations

Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Support staffing, training, coaching, and performance development efforts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Previous management experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, packaging, or supply chain environment

Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and supervisors

Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience with inventory management, ERP, or manufacturing systems

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and operational demands in a fast-paced environment

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Printing, graphics, packaging, or related manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
