Registered Nurse OBGYN

Health Partners is hiring for a full‑time RN working out of the St. Paul Health Center for Woman clinic.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in Minnesota
• Current RN licensure in Wisconsin within two months of hire
• Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On‑line BLS certification is not acceptable
• Strongly demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• One year full time employment as an RN (preferred)

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a time. Must possess speech, hearing and sight skills to perform the functions of the position. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently. Proficiency in other languages may be required. Some positions may have lifting requirements.

• Uses health coaching techniques to elicit patient goals and priorities to develop individualized patient action plans.
• Uses population management tools such as registries to identify high risk patients and track, monitor and follow‑up with their care.
• Engages, assesses readiness to learn and educates patients and families to implement strategies to reach a desired goal or care intervention.
• Identifies and secures patient services needed for patient care.
• Informs and supports patients and families to assist them in making informed decisions and navigate the healthcare system.
