Travel RN - Leadership - Supervisor

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for night shifts requiring charge nurse experience, ACLS, BLS, and a MN RN license.

Job Details

• Work in an acute care hospital as the House Supervisor,

• Oversee the night shift from 18:30 to 07:00 with responsibility for patient flow, staffing, and addressing concerns,

• Patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights,

• Weekend shifts required every third weekend,

• Level 3 trauma facility and teaching hospital,

• EMR system:
Epic (Excellian),

• No on-call shifts required,

• Floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active MN RN license or eligibility for licensure (pending license accepted),

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required,

• Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse or supervisor experience,

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

• At least one supervisor reference required for consideration,

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility,

• First-time travelers are not accepted,

Additional Information

• Responsible for leading the nursing team during night shifts and handling escalations,

• Work closely with an on-call nursing structure if needed,

• Scrub color is navy blue,

• Night shift parking is provided free of charge,

• No more than 5 days of requested time off preferred,

• Travelers must be gone for at least 3 months from their last permanent shift at the facility,

• Holiday shift coverage may be required depending on the schedule,
