Pediatric

Infectious Disease Division

The Pediatric Infectious Disease division is a dynamic program that includes nine physicians and one nurse practitioner, and boasts a strong collaborative approach where clinical practice, decision-making, and sub-sub-specialty interests are encouraged. The Pediatric Infectious Disease program cares for children with acute and chronic infectious disorders in the greater area of Minnesota and western Wisconsin, as well as those from eastern North Dakota and northern Iowa.

We are seeking a well-rounded Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team. These sites include large neonatal and pediatric ICUs and a large and growing Cardiovascular ICU with a heart transplant program. Additionally, Children’s is home to Minnesota’s primary perinatal and pediatric HIV care program.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the provider will be inpatient care with some outpatient follow-up and ongoing care for patients with a broad variety of acute and chronic infectious conditions. Work collaboratively with talented hospitalist medicine and emergency medicine providers, along with a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical specialists. Additional partners include a robust Immunology program, which includes two physicians and one nurse practitioner.
