Position: RN - Registered Nurse - FT Evenings

Registered Nurse – FT Evenings

Location:

Saint Paul, MN
Good Samaritan Society – Maplewood Center

Shift: 2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m. (Evenings)

Schedule:

32 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday rotations.

Full‑time, 8‑hour shift; 32 weekly hours.

Salary: $39.27 – $46.04 per hour, with $5,000 bonus eligibility.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilizes appropriate age‑ and population‑specific standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
  • Coordinate care, assess residents, provide education, and perform nursing interventions.
  • May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA);
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Hold an unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing; multistate licensure acceptable for NLC states.
  • Maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
