Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a critical care role at a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital, requiring CCRN-preferred certification and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with a variety of med/surg and cardiac ICU patients required
• Skills in genitourinary/renal care, cardiovascular monitoring, ventilator management, and emergency medications preferred
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

• Work in a critical care ICU with a focus on medical/surgical and cardiac critical care patients
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift (4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) or Day shift (4x12 hours, 7:00-19:30) available
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system
• Work in a 317-bed acute care teaching hospital designated as a Level 3 trauma center
• Free charge nurse responsibilities as part of the role
• Navy scrub color required
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible, with no local radius exception for this position
• Returning travelers must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem
• RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days
