American Traveler is hiring an Operating Room RN with strong OR and orthopedic surgery experience for a teaching hospital in Minnesota.

• Operating Room unit within an acute care, teaching hospital with Level III trauma designation
• Day shift (3x12, 6:45a-6:45p) and night shift (3x12, 6:45p-6:45a) options available
• On-call required on an as-needed basis
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Float required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
• Block scheduling accommodated
• Uses Epic (Excellian) for charting

• Active or pending MN RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, with strong OR experience
• Orthopedic surgical experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Experience with surgical specialties such as vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and robotics preferred
• Experience with equipment such as electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources/cords, and Hana Table preferred
• Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

• Scrubs provided on site
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must be gone at least 3 months from their last shift worked as a Perm (Staff or Per Diem) employee to be eligible for return
• RTO requests should not exceed 5 days
• Local candidates accepted with a 100-mile radius restriction
• References are not provided by the facility to travelers post-assignment or for prior perm employees
