Leasing Agent - Class A Multifamily!
Join our team at a premier Class A multifamily residential community just east of Saint Paul, Minnesota!
Point Real Estate Management is seeking a motivated full-time Leasing Agent to work closely with our Property Manager to help keep our property in top condition and ensure a comfortable living experience for our residents. In this role you’ll connect with prospective residents, showcase our units, and help them find their perfect home while supporting the community leasing goals.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Prospects- Greet, qualify, show and close prospective residents.
- Invite prospects to tour.
- Record traffic and leasing activity.
- Ensure that the grounds, showing routes, models and office are ready to use and view.
- Maintain monthly market survey and knowledge of competition.
- Maintain hospitality center for prospective residents.
- Verify applications and notify applicants of approval or denial.
- Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
- Walk through units to ensure they are ready.
- Move in residents by reviewing lease and addendums.
- Promote other income items.
- Resident Retention
- Prepare renewal paperwork.
- Prepare service requests and assign staff to duties
- Strong customer service and communication skills – able to build rapport with prospective and current residents
- Sales and marketing aptitude – ability to promote units and convert leads into leases.
- Organizational skills – capable of managing multiple inquiries, appointments, and paperwork simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
- Attention to detail – ensuring lease agreements and documentation are accurate and compliant.
- Experience in leasing, customer service, sales, or property management is a plus.
- Familiarity with multifamily property operations or real estate leasing laws is helpful.
- Knowledge of professional business discipline
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for property tours and resident events
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing a Class A multifamily property.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High School diploma or GED
