Bakers will prepare baked goods from scratch for our three locations. They ensure the kitchen is clean and well-stocked, and that food and processes follow safety and quality standards. Duties include baked goods production, finishing, packaging, safety, quality, and sanitation.

Schedule:

Current shifts available may vary and can include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Flexibility required.

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

• High Volume Production:
  Experience in high-volume scratch baking, catering, and pastry production/finishing.
• Food Production Knowledge:
  Understanding of food production and essential baking techniques including weighing and measuring ingredients.
• Food Safety and Hygiene:
  Knowledge of safe food handling and cleanliness throughout the cooking process.
• Communication:
  Demonstrated effective and respectful communication with customers and team members.
• Teamwork:
  Able to be flexible to support the changing needs of our team and store.

  Able to prioritize tasks and use time well to finish daily tasks.

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the kitchen and storage areas. Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Bakers prepare and handle food items and may occasionally work in a walk-in cooler/freezer and be exposed to low temperatures, sanitizers, cleaning products, and loud noises.
