Customer & Purchasing Coordinator

Advent Talent Group is hiring a Customer & Purchasing Coordinator for a fast-growing supplier of cabinetry, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and electrical products. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional eager to grow in a dynamic environment!

Location: On-site in Saint Paul, MN

Employment Type: Contract-to-hire

Hours: Full-time - Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $25–$28/hour based on experience

$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

• Customer Support & Order Management
  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with placing orders
  • Understand product categories (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, cabinets)
  • Guide customers to the right products by asking thoughtful questions
  • Enter orders accurately into CRM and accounting systems
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Request quotes and check stock availability
  • Compare pricing and availability to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Place and confirm vendor orders
  • Track shipping timelines and follow up as needed
• Delivery Coordination
  • Monitor open orders and coordinate with couriers or vendors
  • Notify customers of order status or delays
  • Occasionally assist with deliveries or meet customers for drop-offs
• Administrative Support
  • Maintain clean records in CRM and ticketing systems
  • Prepare flyers, estimate packets, and product sheets

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, or administrative support—preferably within industries such as property management, maintenance supply, distribution, or similar fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
