We are seeking a dynamic Chemical Sales Representative to join our team and help drive business growth within an assigned geographic territory. This role involves selling chemicals, ingredients, and services while building and maintaining relationships with commercial, industrial, and technical customers.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- Engage with customers, including commercial and industrial representatives, to promote and sell our products and services.
- Analyze market trends to identify customer needs, potential sales volume, pricing, and discounts; implement sales strategies to meet company objectives.
- Process customer orders, provide instructions, and maintain accurate records of sales and deliveries.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing order forms and sales contracts.
- Keep regular customers informed about new products and services, address service complaints, and resolve issues effectively.
- Set up product displays and promotional materials to boost sales.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales promotions to ensure cost efficiency.
- Assist the District Manager in growing operating profits.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to achieve overall sales goals and company objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Marketing, or a related science field.
- 1‑3 years of B2B sales experience and/or training preferred.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.

- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Strong writing skills for reports and business correspondence.
- Effective communication skills for presenting information and responding to queries from managers and customers.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Problem‑solving skills to manage diverse and non‑standard situations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use Office 365 applications.

Physical Capabilities & Requirements:
- Occasional standing, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
- Noise level is moderate to loud.
- Will frequently work in outdoor weather conditions.
