Full‑time hourly position requiring 100% travel across the Midwest.
Salary & Benefits- Base pay range: $27.43/hr–$33.43/hr.
- Potential to earn over $100,000/year with overtime, travel, and supplemental earnings.
- Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 USD / $3,300 CAD, subject to eligibility and applicable taxes.

Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with a cross‑functional team.
- Travel to various sites, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage travel expenses and cost coding.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain a secure working environment.
- Resolve advanced technical problems independently.
- Participate in construction and installation projects, overseeing the turbine life cycle.
- Minimum of 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, 1 year wind‑turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices.
- Collaborative and able to work well with others.
- Physically fit, comfortable in varying conditions and at heights.
- Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Vestas provides comprehensive training programs and certifications (e.g., GWO Safety & Technical Training). All necessary PPE and equipment will be supplied.

- Complete required safety training and certifications (LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest, High Angle Rescue, Confined Space).
