We are hiring journey-level Pipe fitters for our Parks and Recreation Department. The position hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Here’s what you can expect to do:
Performs service oriented pipe fitting work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of steam piping, fixtures, apparatus, and accessories for heating or for refrigeration or temperature control systems.
Performs pipe fitting work involving installing and repairing steam and hot water radiators and cutting and threading pipes.
Repairs and replaces steam lines, valves, pipe covering, and accessories.

High School Diploma and possess a certificate evidencing the completion of training as an apprentice pipefitter or four years of experience as a journey-level pipefitter. Must possess Certificate of Competency in gas, refrigeration, steam, and hot water issued by the City of Saint Paul.
Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.
